PRAY

Prayer is an essential part of the life of St Michael's and is one of our core values as a church.

The evangelist DL Moody said that "every great movement of God can be traced to a kneeling figure"

whilst Pete Greig, author and founder of the 24-7 prayer movement, once said

“the hinge of history is a bended knee”.

When we pray as a church we are seeking God's face and partnering with God to see his kingdom come in Waddington and the world. Find out about all of the different ways you can get involved in praying at St Michael's.

Prayer wave

Each week we gather online to pray for the life of the church and the community of Waddington. The service is led by a member of the team and lasts about 30 minutes.

Every Wednesday at 9.30am

Prayer walking is as simple as it sounds - stepping out and praying for the community as you walk. When we prayer walk we bless people and places in Jesus’ name. This simple task is a great way to bring transformation to the local community by asking God to break in.

Monday Morning Prayer

Every Monday we gather as a community to pray with so many others around the world through Morning Prayer. Through prayers and readings we bring our focus at the start of the week on to God. In prayer we bring to God our church, our community and our concerns of the world.

Every Monday, 9.00am
