A disciple is someone who learns. As Christians we learn from and about Jesus Christ and how to become more like him. At St Michael's Church we believe learning is important and offer as many opportunities as possible for people to learn. Below are some of the ways you might learn with us.

Bible Book Club

Love books? Love book clubs? Welcome to Bible Book Club, helping you read the Bible with your friends – one book at a time. We next meet on Wednesday 28th May 2025 at 7pm.


Sheets can be found at the back of church for this months book reading. June's book is Ezra.

Alpha

Our Alpha Course started on 20th January 2025 and ran for 11 weeks.

LECTIO Course

The Lectio Course is a 5-part series where Pete Greig, from 24-7 Prayer, will help us to explore lectio divina and incorporate it into our life of prayer.


The Lectio Course started on Monday 2nd June 2025 at 7pm and will run for 5 weeks.

Romans Course

The Roman's Course is a ten-session programme which helps you study Paul's letters to the Romans. The course tackles ten big themes found in the book of Roman's which are key to understanding the Christian faith.


The Roman's Course started on Monday 2nd September 2024 at 7pm and ran for 10 weeks.

Every Monday we gather as a community to pray with so many others around the world through Morning Prayer. Through prayers and readings we bring our focus at the start of the week on to God.
